Well after the end of the Roger's 06 American tour, there had been a flurry of reports, some mere rumor and hearsay on many websites regarding Roger continuing his tour in 2007. As usual, and in order to maintain the credibility our fanclub and website has earned over the last 15 years, REG would not post or publish any information regarding Roger Waters until it was confirmed by Roger's Manager.
However, while talking to several of Roger's band members back stage at one of the shows I attended, I was informed that the tour was indeed going to continue in 2007. I was given several dates and countries, but I did not, and would not publish a tour itinerary until it had been authorized and confirmed by Roger's Manager.
Having received that confirmation REG announced on our website that Roger would be embarking on a huge world tour in 2007. As he did in 2002, he will be touring both Northern and Southern Hemispheres, he will tour the continents of Australia, New Zealand and South America as well as India, China, and all of Europe and Eastern Europe. The tour will likely end with a Mid May to Mid June sweep across many US Southern states as well as a few east coast shows he did not play in 2006. However, there are no dates confirmed at this time. As further information is made available and confirmed, I'll be updating the tour itinerary on our website.
Rogers 2007 tour band will consist of the same performers who traveled with him during 2006: Andy Fairweather Low - Guitar, Snowy White - Lead Guitar, Dave Kilminster - Lead Guitar and Vocals, Jon Carin - Keyboards and vocals, Harry Waters - Hammond Organ, Graham Broad - Drums, Ian Ritchie Saxophone, and Katie Kissoon, PP Arnold and Carol Kenyon - Background Vocals.
As in past and recent tours, there are likely to be a few last minute changes in the itinerary such as a change in venue or even cancellations, and a possibility of more shows to be announced. So please be prepared for any eventuality, and stay tuned to the REG website for any updates.

UPDATE:
The Darien Lake show has been rescheduled from Friday July 13th to Thursday July 12th. This is due to logistical difficulties in getting to Canada in time to perform the following day in Toronto. Tickets for July 13th show are valid for the July 12th show.
At the last minute, because of Ice Hockey Finals that contractually had to be played at Ontario Canada's Scotia Bank Place, Roger Waters' concert that was to be held there on June 4th, had to be rescheduled to June 6th. The concert therefore scheduled in Quebec City on June 6th, was instead performed on June 4th. In essence, the two dates were swapped. However, this obviously played havoc with the plans of many fans.
I have received hundreds of complaints about ticketmaster from Roger's fans for the past 7 years!. The Ticketmaster tactics and policies of discrimination and aligning themselves with the more well off fans by giving preference and better seating to American Express Gold card holders as well as their complete indifference to the satisfaction of any of their customers, has become symbolic of huge greedy international corporations interested in profit alone over anything else. They are worse than ticket scalpers and on a massive scale. I hate the company and strongly advocate ticket purchases from any of the many other online ticket agencies. For those who can afford to puchase the best seats, please follow the ticketshow links for each show of the North American tour. Be warned however that their prices are NOT cheap!!

It has been reported that the official t-shirts from Roger's tour so far, reveal additional cities in the US, Canada, and Brazil where Roger will perform but that have not yet been announced.
I've had many fans and REG members in Brazil email me that shows have already been announced on the radio there, and it now seems that Roger will in fact be playing in Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro.
Roger's tour in the US and Canada is listed on the t-shirt as follows: West Palm Beach, Tampa, Atlanta, New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Hollywood, Irvine, Las Vegas, Oakland, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Omaha, Saint Paul, Milwaukee, Boston, Hartford, and Darien Lake. (Yes... I know New Jersey is not a city, but that's what it says on the shirt.)
Because NONE of these shows have been announced, there are as yet no dates for the shows, let alone dates tickets will be going on sale. PLEASE be aware that all above mentioned shows have yet to be confirmed by Roger's manager. Please stay tuned to the REG website for further official confirmation, dates and ticket sales information.
Roger Waters head of security, Darrell Ives, (listed in the Tour Programm as Security / Assistant) was found dead of a heart attack in his Hong Kong hotel room the day after Rogers concert there. The following is the extract from the local English Newspaper South China Morning Post, Friday February 16th 2007.
Thanks to Niall Richardson for sending sending REG this story.
The latest work from Roger Waters, is a single "Hello (I Love You)" from the movie soundtrack The Last Mimmzy. It was released on Apple's iTunes website on March 6, 2007, and will be available as a CD single through Silva Screen Records on March 27.
According to the official press releases, "Howard Shore's gentle score for THE LAST MIMZY is augmented by the new song HELLO (I LOVE YOU) performed by PINK FLOYD icon ROGER WATERS and written by Roger Waters and Howard Shore. The new track has been produced by JAMES GUTHRIE, a Grammy Award winning producer whose credits include THE WALL, the remastered DARK SIDE OF THE MOON and the PINK FLOYD compilation ECHOES."
In addition to supplementing the movie, many Roger Waters fans have drawn additional meanings from the lyrics, and to be sure, the old Floydian references it contains seem not to be mere coincidence!
Audio and video clips can be seen and heard at:

A promo video with the song can be seen on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eK6FY4Hykc
Thw 2 song single contains; "HELLO (I LOVE YOU) radio edit 4.30 and "HELLO (I LOVE YOU) album version 6.12 and is exclusively avalable through Silva Screen Records. To order, go to: http://www.silvascreen.co.uk.
Although it's already available as a digital download from iTunes, for a pre-order digital download from Silva Screen Records, go to:

The concert, titled: Syd Barrett - Madcap's Last Laugh, was held on May 10th 2007 at London's Barbican Hall.
Syd Barrett was the eccentric genius and founding member of Pink Floyd, whose creative legacy and quintessential English vocal delivery has proven remarkably influential almost a half of a century later.
In this tribute, his spirit was invoked by an all-star line-up of music and lights. The many guest performers included; Kevin Ayers, The Bees, Vashti Bunyan, Mike Heron, Robyn Hitchcock, Chrissie Hynde, Captain Sensible, and Sense of Sound, plus more to be announced. It was the 'more' to be announced that surprised everyone.
Produced by the Barbican, the show was divided in two halves and featured rare film footage of Syd, plus projections of his paintings. The house band included, Andy Bell on bass (Oasis), Simon Finley on drums (Echo & The Bunnymen), Ted Barnes on guitar (Beth Orton).

Roger Waters, appeared on stage with Jon Carin and closed the first half performing 'Flickering Flame.' At the end of the second half, David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright took the stage and performed a great version of Arnold Layne, after which most of the other performers joined in with a fantastic rendition of 'Bike.'
Unfortunately, Roger, Dave, Rick and Nick did not play together. The show began at 7:30 pm and was sold out, with ticket prices set at: 15 / 20 / 25
Reviews:
From: Claire-Louise Isted
I am still shaking after the joy of seeing Roger Waters and Pink Floyd members all on the same stage - though not at the same time - at the Barbican in London last night. None of them had been mentioned on the line-up for the tribute to Syd Barrett, so when they appeared everyone got to their feet, delirious to have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of seeing all the Floyd's members at the same gig - and Syd was there in the spirit of all who performed his songs.
But, for me, it was Waters who stood out. Because, unlike the others, he sang to Syd. Some of the other performers - who even had to bring the written lyrics out with them on stage - seemed to be there because they liked the idea of being associated with Barrett. Waters was there because he knew Barrett and had a personal message for him. It reminded me of the night I went to a Sting concert and he announced that Freddie Mercury had just died. He then sang Fragile and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
Waters has great dignity and one day I'll be telling my grandchildren that I sat straight opposite him last night and felt his aura reach out to Barrett.
I'm seeing Waters tonight at Earl's Court for more of the magic. Dear God, please let him sing Wish you Were Here.
Roger Waters closed the 10th Anniversary of the Save The Music Gala on Thursday 20th September 2007 with Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2). He was joined on stage with Dave Kilminster and a childrens orchestra and choir made up of children and gospel singers.
The Save The Music Gala was held at The Tent at The Lincoln Center in New York and honoured Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton, Mariah Carey, John Sykes and NAMM (The International Music Products Association). Other artists who performed were Jon Bon Jovi and John Mayer.
The event quickly sold out even at $2,500 USD per person; however, the foundation auctioned off two tickets to the event on VH1's website.

Although Jon Bon Jovi and John Mayer performed in addition to Roger Waters. Each artist played only one song and only performed for about 10 minutes, each with a student orchestra that was put together by the foundation specifically for this party. This was however a big star-studded affair, and was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all who attended.
