ANDY FAIRWEATHER LOW - GUITAR, BASS AND VOCALS
Andy Fairweather Low came to prominence as a member of a very successful 60s pop
band. When the group broke up in the early 70s he pursued a solo career. In the
80s he toured and recorded with many successful artistes amongst whom was Roger
Waters. He worked with Roger on the Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking tour and at the
spectacular live performance of "The Wall" staged in Berlin. In addition he
played on the Radio Kaos and Amused to Death albums.
Andy performs and records as a member of Eric Clapton's band.
As Andy himself says of this tour with Roger, "It's good to be back!"
SNOWY WHITE - GUITAR
Snowy White is one of a handful of classic blues orientated British electric
guitar players musicians whose sound, technique and style has echoed the
originality of the blues with the excitement of rock.
In 1976 he toured the US and Europe with the Pink Floyd as their first
augmenting musician. In 1979 he worked with Peter Green (ex Fleetwood Mac) on his
album In The Skies now something of a collectors item.
He then joined Thin Lizzy to record and tour their Chinatown album. His solo
single, Bird of Paradise, was a top five hit in the UK. In 1990 he worked with
Roger Waters on The Wall, Live In Berlin.
In 1994 he formed a new band The White Flames, whose album, Melting, was released
in the US last September.
GRAHAM BROAD - DRUMS
Graham Broad is an accomplished drummer and has worked with Roger Waters on the
Radio Kaos and the Amused To Death albums.
He has played on all Tina Turner's albums since Private Dancer and has worked
with the likes of the Beach Boys, George Michael, Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, Bryan
Adams.
Most recently he has been touring with Bill Wyman.
ANDY WALLACE - KEYBOARDS
Andy Wallace was born in the United Kingdom in 1971. For many years he has
performed and recorded with Hamish Stuart (Ex AWB) as a member of his band . He
has worked with a wide variety of artistes which include David Bowie, Daryl Hall,
Tom Jones, Whitney Houston and most recently, Robbie Williams.
He enjoys playing R & B favouring the Hammond B3. Andy's reputation is fast
growing as a songwriter and producer.
HARRY WATERS - KEYBOARDS
As a child, Harry Waters was classically trained on the piano. Aged 11, his music
professor introduced him to the work of Fats Waller and Scott Joplin.
In his late teens, Harry worked with tribute bands playing everything from Led
Zeppelin to the Grateful Dead regularly touring in Europe. However, his musical
roots lie with blues and jazz and he is heavily influenced by the likes of Bills
Evans, Keith Jarrett and Oscar Peterson. He also enjoys experimenting with
electronic music
The opportunity now to play the music that Harry grew up with is a challenge too
good to miss.
CHESTER KAMEN - GUITAR AND VOCALS
Chester Kamen was born in Hackney, London. He started playing guitar aged 11, and
at 18, turned professional.
His first recording was with a band called, Numbers. Chester and Numbers singer,
Ouida, teamed up and were discovered by Bryan Ferry who produced their self
penned single entitled, "Pick Up In A Nightclub".
Since then Chester has never looked back. He has worked with Madonna on "Like A
Prayer", Robbie Williams on "Angels", Seal, Massive Attack and Gabrielle to name
but a few.
He performed on stage at Live Aid and has played with Paul McCartney, Bob Geldof
and Natalie Imbruglia.
Prior to joining Roger Waters on his In The Flesh World tour, Chester has been
working with Texan singer, Shea Seger.
NORBERT STACHEL - SAXOPHONE
Norbert Stachel is a multi-instrumentalist who has long been recognized for his
individualized solo style on saxophones and other woodwinds. Although his roots
are in jazz and contemporary funk, soul, and rock, he is well versed in a large
variety of styles of music including many ethnic forms. Over the years he has
recorded and performanced with Aerosmith, Tower of Power, Clarence Gatemouth
Brown, Prince, Tito Puente, Diana Ross, Boz Scaggs, Neil Diamond, En Vogue, The
Temptations, Sheila E, Quincy Jones, Les McCann, Don Cherry, as well as many
others.
KATIE KISSOON - GUEST VOCALIST
Katie Kissoon established her name early in her distinguished career as one half
of brother and sister duo Mac and Katie Kissoon.
Since then she has appeared in concert and recorded with many outstanding
artistes including Stevie Wonder, George Harrison, Pete Townsend, Annie Lennox,
Van Morrison, Elton John, Tom Jones, Jamiroquai, George Michael, Roger Waters and
Joe Cocker.
Katie performs and records as a member of Eric Clapton's band.
P P ARNOLD - GUEST VOCALIST
PP Arnold began her singing career as an Ikette with Ike and Tina Turner.She came
to London with them to tour with the Rolling Stones in the mid-sixties. From her
first album"The First Lady of Immediate" came the classic "The First Cut Is the
Deepest" and from the second came her rendition of "Angel Of The Morning". With
her backing band "The Nice", she toured alongside Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Blind
Faith, and many other legendary bands and artists. She has dueted with Rod
Stewart and supported Eric Clapton on his Delaney, Bonnie and Friends with George
Harrison and Billy Preston in the early 70's. She recorded with Roger Waters on
the "Amused To Death" album. She is at present recording another album to be
released later this year.
LINDA LEWIS - GUEST VOCALIST
Linda Lewis was destined to follow a career in the entertainment business from a
very early age. She appeared, aged 8, as a star-struck fan in the Beatles film 'A
Hard Days Night', jammed with John Lee Hooker aged 9 and recorded her first
single 'You Turn My Bitter Into Sweet' while still a school girl.
Her second album, 'Lark' released in 1972 consisted entirely of her own songs and
Linda became a sensation The follow up single 'Rock-a-Doodle-Do' reached number
12 on the British chart.
As a session singer she has recorded with, amongst others, David Bowie, Rod
Stewart and her good friend Cat Stevens who she toured the US with in 1973. Linda
became very popular with many of the biggest names in the business performing
alongside Frank Zappa, Steven Stills, Elton John, Muddy Waters, Richie Havens,
Taj Mahal and many others.
In 1976 Linda signed with Arista records. Allen Toussaint, Lowell George, Ray
Parker, The Meters & the Tower of Power horn section all feature on her albums
'Not A Little Girl Anymore' and 'Woman Overboard'. The single, 'It's In His Kiss'
was an international hit. In 1995 she released 'Second Nature' which went to
number 1 in Japan.
Recently Linda has recorded with Oasis and played with Courtney Pine and a
compilation album of her best known work will be released in the Spring 2002.
