Great show. Great audience (no booing after Leaving Beirut!).

Personal highlights: Fletchers Memorial Home was wonderful. I was expecting a stripped down acoustic version or something but he used full bandwith full orchestra tapes.

Leaving Beirut is a very moving piece of music. The Canadian audience cheered when Roger said something to the effect of "I never forgot how wonderful this Arab couple was to me". Seeing him arrive at the couples house as a smart-ass teenager ("a monopod, but not a queer!") and leave so profoundly changed ("what's wrong with us?") was very poignant. That particular line, "what's wrong with us?", really sticks for some reason.

Sheep: The footage of the average middle-age overweight white guy sitting on a park bench just adding to the biting lyrics. The pig was very cool.

Perfect Sense 1 & 2: A wonderful moment of connection between Roger and the audience, as always. P. P. Arnold is amazing.

Bring The Boys Back Home: Something about this song really struck me. For the first time, this song is being played live while Canadian, British, and American troops are fighting overseas. It's always been a WWII song, but he used contemporary footage of a modern day soldier. It gave the song a sharper edge to me. In the pastI could listen to it and feel sad, but manage to come back to hear and now. This time the song wasn't about our fathers or grandfathers, it was about our brothersand sistersand friends we went to high school with.

Just my thoughts!
Zach

I just came home form the Toronto Roger Water's show, and I have to tell ya the man hasn't lost any of his showmanship, musical ability or vocal strength. The show was just awesome!!

The Toronto crowd even blew Roger away - with our enthusiam, noise and love for him and the band! For a guy who has sold out stadiums 4 and 5 times as big in the past - he said and I quote "thank you - thats a bit overwhelming" in reference to our clapping! Near the end he said "this has always been a great music town!!"

The set list didn't stray one iota from what has been previously played nor did he give us any bonus songs or time - which was a bit dissapointing considering... however that was the only dissapointment! The light show and fireworks were incredible as were the floating astronaut and pig!

For me the highlight was "Sheep" and "Us and Them" However crowd faves were definitely "Time, "Money", and "Comfortably Numb".

The atmosphere was great and the sweet scent of marijuana and hash were in the air everywhere, I didn't think the sound was as good as when Pink Floyd played the Ex more than 10 years ago - I guess there was no Quadrophonic sound this time or if there was it didnt seem like it.

The one thing that I'm puzzled about and would like feedback about is - Roger said "Im gonna play a new song now"... and played "Leaving Beirut" which did have lyrics about Bush etc., however I could have sworn I heard that song a long time ago on some obscure import.

Either way is there any rumour or confirmation of a new album? concept album? Well I hope Roger and the rest of the boys will come to complete terms and tour together - maybe with a new album in their 70's!!!

Hi everyone. I just returned from the show at the ACC in Toronto and it was fantastic. I waited 29 years to see Roger, I bid on front row seats and won and I had 4 more seats that I gave to good friends. The whole thing cost me 2500.00 CAD and I have to say it was worth every cent.

I had tears in my eyes when Roger came out on stage. I couldn't afford to go to any shows before because I was raising a family and had no money. Tonight I brought my 18 yr. old son and my 16 yr. old daughter to watch the show and they were as spellbound as I was. They have been brought up with me playing Pink Floyd since they were born. And what a show it was. At 3 hours running, I thought it was too short. We could have listened to him all night.

The guitars, the sax the vocals, the sound was awesome. Im still spellbound. Roger was in awesome form. And to our American cousins who booed during his sets in the States, I say get stuffed. Bush is a dick.

I last saw Roger when the band was still together in 1977 at the Olympic Stadium in Motreal during the Animals tour in 1977. I watched Roger get mad and spit on the guy who was climbing the fence in front of the stage. Then some assholes were throwing fireworks onto the stage and Roger got even madder. I was 20 years old then and Im 48 now. I saw the rest of the band during the Division Bell tour in the 80's and they were good but tonight this show was magical.

My only regret is that I missed all his other shows. The whole show was magical. I could go on and on but thats enough. I hope he returns again. I hear rumours of another album coming out. Lets hope so.

WOW! Let me start off by saying i have seen Pink Floyd July 6, 1996 at the CNE, also I recently attended David Gilmour at Massey Hall on April 9th 2006. This was my first time seeing Roger Waters and it exceeded all expectations.

The sound was perfect, Dave Kilminster and Snowy were amazing. Carin nailed everything as always, and Roger has a tremendous voice that puts chills up your spine. I never wanted the night to end.

Highlights for me was the legendary Wish You Were Here sung by Waters. Also Southhampton Dock and Fletcher Memorial Home from the Final Cut.

This is a show I will never forget.

I enjoy yoursite very much. Here's my take on Sept 20th in Toronto.

Fantastic show as always. A bit bigger production than Toronto 1999 In The Flesh at the amphitheatre, where still images were used. The full video on 3 screens much more effective. And the inflatables were cool too. Dave Kilminster was amazing, I'd first seen him doing a video demo for Vox amplifiers and I knew from that he was a competent player, but man... I have to get his back catalog, just like I had to get Doyle Bramhall's. Snowy's still got that old goldtop Les Paul. Very good to see the rest of the band still looking good and sounding great.

I have to agree with other posters, this was the best Waters show I've seen, and that's compared to 2 Pros and Cons (1984/5), 2 KAOS (1988), and one In the Flesh (1999). I noticed he used little bits of visuals from his past shows... like the sattelite from KAOS over the dark side of the moon, the billion candles burning, the old shortwave radio projection reminding me of the coffee table from Pros and Cons. I liked the SOMA pill (from Brave New World) during Brain Damage. My only complaintwas thatit was too short,( I wanted to hear more of Amused to Death). And Roger, we don't vote on Nov 7 in Canada, we should have got our own pig!

And as for some people getting bent about Rog's politics in his songs and shows... well, when hasn't Roger Waters been political? How can people who call themselves fans and know his work or the Floyd's work be surprised when he goes after the powers that be (for good reason)?

To our American friends who reviewed earlier shows and took exception to Roger exercising his right to free speech: perhaps you could have George W. make a law under the Patriot Act that all performers mustmeetgovernment approval?

Wishing you yourself would read this note, I'd like to express my love and respect for your music over the years.

I've been in love and awe with your music for the last 27 years. Your music has been my salvation during hard times and joy during good times in life.

When 19 years ago I saw you live for the first time in Toronto, something about the power of your music and your presence on stage moved me so muchthat causeda turning point in my life - awonderful one. I saw you live seven years ago and again three nights ago in Toronto.

Your concert was out of this world, the music, performance, and the sound. I truly appreciate your talent. You are just great.

Worked on going to this event for weeks , the tension was growing until the 20th, on the day, I had invited 36 of my 50 guests to come to my house, because of the location of my home. My other guests made their own way to the concert. These guests included employees, neighbors and freinds, and in-laws. I had a great greeting party at home. The limousines arrived and we were all good to go, 7 limousines and the neighbors were freaking, what attention that a parade like this creates.

Finally reaching the Air Canada Center , WE ARE HERE, we all sat in the same section, closest to the stage of coarse. Ê

Ê It was awesome!!! The show was wild !!! Roger Waters made a super performance!!! And the band was unbelievable! The sound was loud... and the crowd loved every minute of it. The group as a whole was sensational !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too much to tell!! Congratulations on an outing that would be be hard to beat by any performer!!! Roger Waters, you sure did perform, and for the band... the highest of compliments on a job well done. And from my 50 guests, the highest of compliments as well.

Plain and simple, the show was awesome!!! From a 35 year fan of Pink Floyd and Roger Waters... it was most impressive!!! Rroger rocks!!!
