The setlist started with In the Flesh, and Another Brick in the Wall was an
encore.During the show very beautiful graphics and scenes were projected upon a massive
backdrop screen. There was also a brilliant lightshow as well as pyrotechnic fireworks.
Compared to the 2002 In The Flesh show, there were less tracks from his solo album, but
he included his new song Leaving Beirut. This show also had a much more political feeling to it,
against Bush and Blair and the War in Iraq.
It was a good performance by the band, except the guitar of Dave Kilminster.
Two guitars made for an ugly solo in Confortably Numb!! However it was still a great show.
My greatest disappointment however was hearing about the English benefit show with Roger Waters,
Eric Clapton and company for the Country Side Alliance in order to continue the legalization of fox hunting!!
Because of this, my respect for Roger Waters personally, has gone very low, but I still have a little
respect for the music he has given us!!!
I saw the second show of Roger Waters at the arena in Verona.
It was a splendid place. It seemed a reissue of the area from the film Live At
Pompeii!!

Me and my friends sat on the second row, great seats in this amazing arena. When Roger sat down and played "The Gunners Dream", I nearly cried, it was SOO BEAUTIFUL (I saw him do this song live in Stockholm -84). I wanted to hear the whole Final Cut rather than DSOTM, but it was OK.
Fuck it was a hell of a show. It takes time to melt in your mind. You wake up with his music playing inside your head.
The highlights for me were: Have A Cigar, Leaving Beirut, On the Run, Any Colour You Like, and after that, all the rest. We went to see the second show too (Thank God), and it was even better than the first! We were more relaxed, and could focus on more details. It's incredible that 3 hours can pass so fast. THANKYOU Mr. Waters, please come again next year.
You're lucky he'll tour North America, congratulations! Watch as many shows as possible, and pray he'll do TGD, he didn't in Roskilde last Sunday, but the show was of course great and something to remember! I couldn't belive Roger Waters would ever play at the Roskilde-Festival.
SHINE ON Michael and Good Luck
Greetings from Sweden
