Well after the end of the Roger's 06 American tour, there had been a flurry of reports, some mere rumor and hearsay on many websites regarding Roger continuing his tour in 2007. As usual, and in order to maintain the credibility our fanclub and website has earned over the last 15 years, REG would not post or publish any information regarding Roger Waters until it was confirmed by Roger's Manager.
However, while talking to several of Roger's band members back stage at one of the shows I attended, I was informed that the tour was indeed going to continue in 2007. I was given several dates and countries, but I did not, and would not publish a tour itinerary until it had been authorized and confirmed by Roger's Manager.
Having received that confirmation REG announced on our website that Roger would be embarking on a huge world tour in 2007. As he did in 2002, he will be touring both Northern and Southern Hemispheres, he will tour the continents of Australia, New Zealand and South America as well as India, China, and all of Europe and Eastern Europe. The tour will likely end with a Mid May to Mid June sweep across many US Southern states as well as a few east coast shows he did not play in 2006. However, there are no dates confirmed at this time. As further information is made available and confirmed, I'll be updating the tour itinerary on our website.
Roger's 2007 tour band will consist of the same performers who traveled with him during 2006: Andy Fairweather Low - Guitar, Snowy White - Lead Guitar, Dave Kilminster - Lead Guitar and Vocals, Jon Carin - Keyboards and vocals, Harry Waters - Hammond Organ, Graham Broad - Drums, Ian Ritchie Saxophone, and Katie Kissoon, PP Arnold and Carol Kenyon - Background Vocals.
We will continue to bring you up to date with the latest news as we know it.
