The anticipation of this show, for me, has been overwhelming. Getting an opportunity to see Roger Waters and hear the Pink Floyd Classics is a once in a lifetime event. Finally the night arrives. Father's Day Weekend, what a gift. My wife and I head out for a great evening. My expectations for this show were vastly exceeded. I knew I was in for an exceptional evening of powerful music, and Roger and his musicians delivered.

Being an avid Wall fan, I was so anxious to hear the 1st set and the encores, but when all was said and done, the Dark Side set was unfucking believable! Us and Them was the top song of the night, brilliant. The acoustics were superb; loud, crisp, and clear. May have to get in on another concert date, this is so worth a second time!!

Roger Waters = Perfection. Last night was the culmination of many hours reading reviews, counting down the days, and finally sitting down in my seat at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for what turned out to be the show of a lifetime.

I had my 20 year old daughter with me, so she could witness what I have been telling her all of her life. Roger/Pink Floyd concerts are more than a concert, they are truly an experience that will never be forgotten.

I saw Pink Floyd during the 1975 Dark Side tour, 1994 tour, and Rogers In The Flesh tour. Last nights show will rank right up on top with the '75 show. Rogers band is absolutely incredible. They played each and every song perfectly. Tears came down my cheeks half way through The Great Gig In The Sky, and again during Brain Damage. The entire show was magnificent. Sheep, Perfect Sense, Vera. All sounded unbelievable.

But there was something that until later this afternoon was bugging me. I couldn't figure it out. There were no surprises. None. They were so good that they sounded as good or better than the original!

Thanks Roger for the last 40 years. From The Piper to now, I have been a true Floyd fan. Last nights show was the cherry on top of my music cake.

Hi Reg,
Well, just got back to Albuquerque from the excruciatingly hot and perpetually decadent city of Las Vegas. Wow, I thought Phoenix was hot last year, but Vegas in the summer is dangerous! We walked about 3 blocks outside on the strip and I could feel the radiation from the sun burning my skin away! That was enough of that! One must stay indoors or die in such a place! The parking garages are even worse, the heat gets trapped and no doubt it had to be 120 degrees in there and in the elevators! Then there are all the people and the incessant ding ding ding of those slot machines everywhere. My friend and I agreed, Why would Roger even play here? The whole Vegas lifestyle seems very much the opposite of Roger's lyrics over the years. The whole place is fake! A monument to the excesses of Capitalism, hedonism, and materialism! There was something strangely ironic hearing Leaving Beirut and Bring the Boys Back home and thinking about all those dead soldiers and civilians in the middle east and at the same time seeing people drinking themselves to a state of shall I say Numbness? I loved a previous review of the Irvine show, where the reviewer reflects on the ironies of the drunks singing Breathe in the bathroom and such. I had the same feeling, that the message is sometimes lost on the fans who think Comfortably Numb is an exhortation to take drugs and could never imagine that they themselves are the Sheep Roger writes about!

Well, I said to my friend, Roger was supposed to play Vegas in 06, but that show got changed and he had to come back; but besides that, there are some great things to do in Vegas. I think Roger would have enjoyed and I hope he saw the Beatles Love show at the Mirage! That was very cool and cost more than Rogers tickets for about an hour show! The best thing about it is the theater they use it has giant screens and amazing sound (with speakers in the seats) and all kinds of special effects. I imagined Roger playing in THAT theater. Wow, that would be phenomenal! After seeing this Love show Friday night the special effects Roger uses while still state-of the art and mind blowing seemed a little less impressive to me but then again I have seen this show 4 times now and this time I was further away and higher up.

The place to see the show best I think is from the floor, the screen is so much bigger and the sound is louder and it is just worth paying more to have those kinds of seats! I thought the band was a little off in spots but it could be where I was sitting. I also have a bootleg from the Italy show in 06 where the guitars sounded so loud and dead-on (I listen to it way too much!) that I notice slight variations in the sound. It seemed like maybe Snowy and Dave were improvising a little more at this show than say in Atlanta. Maybe they were trying some new things? I can't be sure. One thing I can say is Rogers voice sounded great! And he was jamming and walking the stage and waving to people. It seemed a lot of people went to the bathrooms or to get more drinks during the Final Cut stuff and during Perfect Sense and Beirut. You could tell a lot of the crowd were not real Waters fans. We would never get up during those songs!

Leaving Beirut just keeps getting better and better with Andy sounding just amazing on that wicked swanky guitar! It was well-received. These older guys next to me who had never seen Roger before seemed pretty blown away, and I heard them say Holy Shit when the lyrics appeared on the screen. I could not tell if they agreed with the message or not but I'll tell you they knew this was powerful stuff! I did not hear any boos. My friend spotted someone giving Roger the finger, but for the most part I am not sure the crowd was really following along. The Vegas crowd is a weird mix. By the way, at least security was cool and almost non-existent! For those of us who prefer to smoke our favorite drug rather than just get drunk this was a good thing!

So, all in all another great show with another wildly appreciative crowd. I bought the new 2007 program which has been totally redone from the 06 tour. I am glad I got it. Now I want one of those nice Lithographs maybe and a DVD of the show! And as soon as the new material comes out on CD, I'll be the first to buy that too! Thanks Roger for all the good times and all the great music over the years! And thanks for making us think and making us question authority, and lastly, for helping us to see why we need to get involved in removing the greedy politicians who use our brave young men and women soldiers as pawns in their oil war for their own financial benefit! They will pay! What God Wants God Gets! Roger Rules!

Hey, a buddy and I went to this concert Saturday night and I must say that it was, hands down, the BEST concert I have EVER seen. It was phenomenal!!!! It wasn't just the music and the effects, but the energy of the entire show was... again, absolutely phenomenal!

Hi, What an amazing show. Mind blowing. This was my first Waters show since Radio KAOS in 1987. Being 20 years older, I think I was able to appreciate a lot more, even though I probabably only comprehended half of what Waters had to say.

The energy from the crowd was unlike any concert I have been to. The music was incredible, spot on solos and vocals. Great Gig in the Sky was perfectly done. It was amazing! Everything about the show was amazing.

The set list was slightly different from what I have seen posted about other shows. I think he threw in a few extra songs from the The Wall for the Vegas crowd. I remember him doing the long version (as in the movie) of Empty Spaces with lots of nice visuals, One of my Turns, Young Lust, and possibly Goodbye Cruel World. I'd like some confirmation on those though, because I was completely out of my head, and might just be remembering listening to those songs afterwards.

I might fly out to another show on this tour asit was so good.

GREAT SHOW! I was glad to have the opportunity to take my 15 yr old twins to the Las Vegas concert June 16th. We braved the 100+ degree Fahrenheit temperatures waiting in line to see the show. Even though one of my twins had to go to the restroom badly, she was willing to risk peeing her pants as to not miss even 1 second of the show.

We all enjoyed the show very much. My twins said the Roger Waters concert was by far the best concert ever that they had been to, topping all the heavy metal, hip hop and rap music that their age group is listening to these days. This was the best performance yet. A definite A++++

This was my third DSOM concert: Chicago 2006, Phoenix and Las Vegas 2007. I thought it couldn't get any better than the one I went to in Chicago but was I wrong Las Vegas was the best concert I've ever seen. The fans... the sound... the venue... it was all great. The show in Phoenix sucked, being that I live in Phoenix I was used to the heat, but not used to all the rude people we ran into, including the people that worked there. I left that show really disappointed. I am really glad that I was able to catch the one in Las Vegas. All I can say is if you have a chance to see this show, I would do everything you could to see it.

A huge Thank You to Roger Waters and the band for such a great performance. The show brought back so many fond memories of my teen yrs nearly 40 yrs ago when I first heard the Dark Side of the Moon album and the songs from The Wall, Wish you were here and Animals. Now my own teens listen Pink Floyd CD's and their all time favorite since age 4, The Wall. For my teens to see Roger Waters with me the other night was the frosting on the cake and the cherry on the sundae. I have to say that I was in awe of how handsome Roger Waters has become with age. Thank you for the memories, that my teens and I will share for many years to come. You haven't lost your touch one bit.

My wife and I flew to Vegas from Texas for this show. Wow, what an experience! We saw Pink Floyd at Mile High Stadium during the "Learning to Fly" tour, and it was excellent also. Waters and his band absolutely nailed the DSOM. Great Gig in the Sky was moving.

My only disappointment was when I was forced to listen to his political diatribe against republicans. I actually felt like booing him. But I simply refused to applaud that number as did most of the audience. Celebrities should keep their politics to themselves unless advocating something for the good (such as fighting poverty like Bono does). I promise you that this will not go over well at the Omaha Nebraska date! Todd Summers Lubbock, TX

HI there! I just saw Roger Waters for the second time in a month and it was awesome both times!

I originally saw him in west palm beach on May 18th at sound advice amphitheatre, which was an outside venue. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SHOW! I am a frequent concert goer, but I must say that this was the BEST concert I have ever been to!

I have seen him before a few years ago, but May 18th took the cake! Being outside made all the difference in the world, I think. During the show, we were outside actually looking at the dark side of the moon up in the sky. How awesome is that, not to mention that there were airplanes overhead during the show flashing their lights - since we were in the direct flight line of the airport.

During the encore performance, it started to rain a bit, which helped cool off the warm Florida night we were having. Everyone was having the time of their life and I don't think there was a person in the place not singing every word of every song he played, which sounded completely awesome. His back-up singers blew us away also! Unbelievable!

My husband and I loved the show so much, that we decided to go see him again the following month, so we booked tickets to LAS VEGAS and saw him again at the MGM Grand on June 16th! I even paid for my babysitter to fly there and stay with us so she could watch my small children while we went to the concert!

The June 16th show in Vegas blew me away yet again - the sound in that small arena was incredible and I had just as much fun this time, only without the coolness of seeing the dark side of the moon in the sky and without the airplanes going overhead. However, some seriously awesome laser lights inside the arena made up for that. The back-up singer lady stole the show toward the end - man is she something!

I'm still debating on whether or not I can afford to travel somewhere else across the country to see him again. And once I recover financially from the Las Vegas trip (that can be a killer there) I will decide where I can go to se him yet one more time! AMAZING!
