Roger Waters World Tour 2007
Northern Hemisphere
Tour Reviews

Quebec Colisee Pepsi Arena

From the Quebec City Quebec Canada Show
June 4th 2007

NOTE: This show was originally scheduled for June 6th. However, at the very last minute... because of the Ice Hockey Finals being played in Ottawa on that date, the dates of the Ottawa and Quebec City show (which had originally been scheduled on June 6th), had to be switched. This may have caused considerable distress or hardships for some of the fans and their plans for these shows. REG had been informed by several fans in Ottawa that the show had to be rescheduled because of the Hockey Finals, but we did not here of any change in venue or date by Roger's management, so we did not change the dates until it was too late. Our sincere apologies! In the future, just to make sure, please check with the venue of the show you'll be attending before embarking on any long journey.

Hi there you fans of the most generous rock artist of the world. Roger and his beautiful band were in our city last night. I've seen quite a bit of rock shows since my first Emerson Lake and Palmer concert back in 1970 in Montreal. But I will tell you that the 3 hours we passed with Roger and band members were the best in my life. The Dark side of the moon Tour is the best all around show I've seen. The sound could not have been better, the pyrothecnics were awesome, the videos were hallucinating (huge screen with beautifully non stop quality footage) the stage was beautifully set, Roger was in great shape (smiling-bassing-rocking in sink with a beautiful drummer, and communicating with his music). The guitarists were sensational, the keyboardists made the melodies stick with the ensemble and finally the 3 backup vocalists in all there solos gave me goosebumps.

It was my fourth Roger Waters show. This one was unique because Roger planned it so we could see his life in a single evening. He presented us a succession of audio-visual tableaux of his youth, his story with The Pink, his tribute to Syd Barrett, his point of view on world issues (war, religion, peace, our earth as part of the universe). He filled the bridge between me and him.

When I come to think of it in retrospective, It is the best rock show of my life and I am happy I was there because I doubt I will see him again in a another World tour. Roger, you set the bar pretty high yesterday night for other perfromers to come. I doubt anybody could match your artistry, your honesty and your generosity.

PS. I am writing this while listening to his latest release ''Hello, I love you''...WOW... Hello I love you... Is there anybody in there.

Reviews are coming in and Roger Waters World Tour 2007 is the best Quebec City has seen for a very long time. Everything was present; the sound, the mood and the anti war feelings of the 70's. Hip! Hip! Hurrah! for Roger& Company!

P.P., you know where it's at don't you!
