From: Aronld Layne
I'm not a Floyd- or Waters fanatic, but I have listened to most of Floyd's music
and liked a lot of it very much. My favourites are the two albums "WishÉ" and
"Dark sideÉ"plus a few of the old songs, like "See Emily Play" and some of the
really far out psychedelic stuff from that era. There is one particular
instrumental one, with a devilish guitar riff... AAAAH, I wish I remembered the
name of it! And I wish he would have played it...
However, I enjoyed the concert very much indeed! It was an amazing experience to
hear these classics, played in a brilliant way and with the lighting & videos etc.
fitting in with the music and the lyrics in a way that I have never seen with any
other artist! Great musicians, great back up singers. Very good sound quality for
an arena show.
There were a few songs that I was not familiar with and some of these I found
somewhat less attractive. But I have always had trouble with "taking in" new
music in a concert context, so... whatever!
Another thought is that it could have been interesting if Waters did rearrange
some of the songs. They are now played in an almost note for note copy of the
recorded versions. It would be fun if he experimented a bit, I think.
But all in all: a truly great experience! 4+ on a 1 - 5 scale.
Set list (copied from a Swedish evening paper):

The concert took place at Globen ("The Globe"), which is a globe shaped (hence
the name) sports arena, holding, I think, about 15,000 people at rock concerts.
The place was sold out.
