Bravo, bravo, bravo... Roger and Band you were superb. From the beginning of In The Flesh to the end of Comfortably Numb, you were better than ever.

Roger is redefining music in concert. If you can get to this show you will not be disappointed. Roger, at least last night, played with passion for the music and convictions that do not waver.

I was hesitant to hear him speak as I have been reading reviews here for the last year or so. Maybe Roger tends to take nights off for speaking a whole lot on political issues and what some on reviews have posted about "America bashing", but last night he gave his heart out through the words and music that have changed hearts for years.

He was very pleasant to the audience, and with the intro to the song Leaving Beriut, he talked gently about an experience he had when he was a teenager traveling through that country and how he was helped after his car broke down by strangers in a strange land. The visuals on the screen really brought the song to life for all... amazing, simply amazing. Some of the lyrics maybe could be taken as an offense to some, but all in all you need to hear the whole song as a whole to understand it. I am a christian and I am an American by birth and I found nothing in this concert to upset me, just a man with passion for what he does and has.

Rogers voice was incredible and the sound was incredible. He sings with deep feeling and sounds better than ever. The reviews are true... an outstanding production. The glimpses of Syd were moving and brought real feelings out of Roger. You could tell he was just giddy with playing the music and a real poet when singing the words. His band is top notch. The back up singers were so wonderful and made the show even better with their haunting and beautiful at the same time voices. Jon Carin did a great job with filling in for Dave's parts on vocals.

I saw Roger 20 years ago this year on his Radio K.A.O.S. tour and this one for the present time is unheralded. This show brought out the best of 30 years worth of timeless music.

I do agree with many people who hope Roger and David can put down their egos and come to some sort of agreement to do a record. As much as this show was incredible and I strongly encourage anyone who enjoys this music to get there while you can, I can't help but miss David and Richard and Nick complementing Roger. Tear down the Wall Roger and David. One by one the bricks can fall and open up a new chapter. You will make a ton of money and you can help those you sing about with meaning. You have a platform with which to get out a message that will resound the world over. I think you and David do share a common good will for mankind, and you only have so much time.

Enough... Thank you Roger for your heart and humanity and wonderful gift that God has given you in creating music and lyrics that help people think. God bless you.

I just got back home to Milwaukee after seeing Roger's concert last night in St. Paul at the Excel Energy Center. I drove 5 hours from Milwaukee to St. Paul and it was well worth it. I had initially only planned to see the Milwaukee show on July 2nd, but when my best friend Matt said he would drive up from his home in northern Iowa to meet me for the St. Paul show, I decided it would be too worthwhile to pass up. Matt and I grew up together in New Jersey. By an interesting turn of fate, he has ended up in Iowa and I have ended up in Wisconsin. Together we had seen Roger at the Philadelphia Spectrum on the Pros and Cons tour in 1985 and at the Meadowlands Arena (New Jersey) on the Radio KAOS tour in 1987. Both shows were fantastic and we agreed that we had to see this year's show in St. Paul. Matt lives closer to St. Paul than Milwaukee. It was a great show last night.

Before the show, Matt and I had dinner at a pub across the street from the arena. There were lots of Pink Floyd and solo Roger Waters stuff being played on the pub's sound system. I was surprised to here several songs played from the Division Bell. I don't know if the person selecting the songs was ignorant of Pink Floyd/Roger Waters history or if perhaps they were expressing some kind of opinion on the Floyd Wars of the 1980s and 1990s. I suspect it was the former. However, I was pleased to also hear The Tide is Turning and Four Minutes played while we were eating dinner.

Then we went into the arena. The Excel Energy Center looked pretty full, so I am guessing that the show was sold out or close to it. Does anyone know what the actual attendance was? The crowd was quite loud in its appreciation. Our seats were on the side of the stage on the stage right side. At times Roger was only 10 or 12 feet away from us when he walked over to our side of the stage. He seemed to be enjoying himself and often made eye contact with people in the audience and smiled at them.

A few other observations...
Leaving Beirut was well received and I heard no booing from where we were sitting. Quite the contrary, it received loud applause at a few points during the song and very loud applause at the end.

The first part of Southhampton Dock was just Roger singing and playing acoustic guitar, like on the recorded version. I seem to recall that the first half of this song was accompanied by keyboards, drums and the backup singers when it was played on the In The Flesh shows I saw in 1999 and 2000.

The first guitar solo that is normally in Shine on You Crazy Diamond was missing. The song went right from the keyboard intro into the well known four note guitar riff.

Right after Sheep finished, Roger goofed around a little bit, stepped up to the microphone and made the baaaah sound of a sheep. He then spent a brief moment trying to get the audience to do the same. Quite fun.

A fantastic show. I am very happy that I get to see it again tomorrow night here in Milwaukee.

Hey there everyone... I went to the concert last night. It's so hard to explain to people how awsome the concert was. The concert has changed my perception on my life and how the war fuck's up people's lives.

There were two sets; the first set was just a bunch of different Pink Floyd song's. Then the second set, which was my favorite, was the whole Dark Side Of The Moon from start to finish.

Roger truly is an amazing musician, and he put a lot of tears in my eyes, and other people's as well. The most amazing thing about the show was the very unusal visual effects. I would see him again in a heart beat. I hope he comes back again.

It was an awesome show!! He performed "Pulse" to a tee! I was a little disappointed that he didn't have a better light show, but just pleased to be in the same building as Roger Waters hearing his music performed to it's perfection!

I've seen Pink Floyd 4 times starting with the Animals tour in 1977, and Roger Waters 3 times, two of which were the "Dark Side Tour" June 16th at the MGM in Vegas and June 30 at the Twin Cities. It is really cool to still see these venues after all these years. The props and lights are top notch as you can expect. Loved the encore! Get There If you can!

Well, I was wanting this magical experience... I bought the tickets for the June 30th show in Mnpls. MN. My husband and I attended. We both grew up in the 60s. The beginning of the show was great... more than we could have hoped for. We wanted to hear the songs that took us back to our youth. Then, from the highest high we could have reached, we came crashing down... there was some new stuff and it was some kind of anti-war song that included a back drop of photos and a message saying British people are the stooges for America. I was thinking what?????? Then this giant pink helium pig appeared to float over the crowd. It had messages on it like habias corpes is important, impeach Bush, shit like that. I then thought, who the hell does this guy think he is??????? If he doesn't like America, he should stay the hell out of it. My husband and I, along with several other attendees left the show at that moment. Everyone in the parking lot was talking about how this guy had a lot of nerve putting down America while he was smack dab in the middle of it.

We will never attend another concert. We just wanted to hear the music we grew up with. If we wanted to attend a political rally, we would have signed up. Musicians somehow think since they have a captive audience, they can push their political agenda onto the audience. Who the hell do they really think they are????

If I thought I had a prayer, I would demand my money back from Ticketmaster.

Maybe Roger Waters should run for office... then he would have a venue in which to display his political opinions. So many people left this concert. What a shame we couldn't get from it what we wanted. We deserved better. We are the generation who made this old man famous. The only people who stayed were kids who were drunk and didn't care who was playing or what their message was.

Roger... go back to England. We don't want you in our great country again. And, if you really were against Capitalism, your concerts would be free, now wouldn't they??

I have been a Floyd fan as long as I can remember. I have never seen them in concert and have kicked myself for it. Thanks to my wife and a friend, I was talked into seeing this concert. I was afraid it would not live up to my expectations.

Roger and his band were unbelievable! They blew me away! I can't say which songs were the best because most of them were mind blowing. I have never been to any performance that was that incredible. Roger Waters showed every body why The Dark Side of the Moon has been the best album of all time.

You must see this show before it's over. Thanks for the great website. I was able to find out who the other talented artists were on stage. Wow!
