It was my 3rd DSOTM show and I hope Roger tours very soon again.
Hi everybody,
Yesterday's show in Odense was really fantastic. It seemed that everybody on
stage enjoyed the evening. Chester Kamen did an extraordinary solo in
Leaving Beirut.
It was almost too perfect the music, the scenery, the lights and of caurse the Pig complete with "vote Obama" and a cartoon that had great resemblance of a Danish politician placed just where she belongs.
It was the first time I heard music from The Final Cut performed live, and it was great.
The Guitar solo's in Shine On... were so close to Davids guitar playing that I almost imagined that "he must be out there behind the scenes". It was excellent!
It was the first time I got a chance to hear Leaving Beirut, and it seems promising.
The Dark Side of the Moon was so powerful, and The Great Gig had tears streaming from my eyes.
Another Brick in the Wall pt. 2 was so you, and so us.
All in all: WOW!!
The day after the show, I went straight to the record store to get CA IRA to make my Waters collection complete
