Last night's closer was great. It was roughly two hours and forty minute,
maybe a little longer. Doyle Bramhall Jr. was highly impressive in his role
as co-lead guitar player.
Highlight for me include Breathe, Breathe Reprise, and the solo from Time. Nothing bad to say about this show. Had first row on Doyle's side. Roger wails.
We tried to meet and greet near the bus after the show but 40 minutes after the show the security made us leave.
As Roger left he said some thing like this. "This is the last date of the tour. I love everyone in this band. Leaving this behind is......hard. Hopefully, we'll do it again."
PS. Upon reading the reviews of past shows, I have realized that one of the
funnier
moments of the shows is when Andy Fairweather Low does his ever so weird and
robot like type "solo" during "Money". Doesn't anyone else realize this is
done tongue-in-cheek? He does not play solos. He is mocking the whole lead
guitar stature etc. It is a riot and a half.
It cracks me up when people put it "down" as a "fault" of the show.

"It was the greatest show on Earth, but then it was over" I have seen Roger
Waters 5 times and I have to say it just keeps getting better. In his final
show of the tour I was finally able to meet the man himself. It happened
about 3 hours before the show when he arrived. The van he was in stopped and
the shocked crowd of about 15 was told that they could have 1 autograph. I
gave him a doaler to sign becuase "Money" is my favourite Floyd song. He
smiled at me as I thanked him and I left in a delirous state.
The Show itself remained the same with an emotional Waters at the end telling the crowd that it was "Hard to let go" and that "He would like to do it (Tour) again sometime"
Although it was sad to see this tour end I loved each show and still have a
live and studio Roger Waters album plus the opera to look forward to in the
future.

Hello:
I witnessed July 16, Providence RI. "Amused to death" was great live as I
knew it would. That show compares to the "pros and cons" with Clapton that I
enjoyed
in Hartford CT back in 1984. Fantastic show!

The man threw me his bass pick. I caught it. It was great. I am
speechless.

Great show. Roger was in fine form. He sounded better than ever and Snowy
White was awesome on guitar. Andy Fairweater-Low was funny mocking Pete
Townshend on Money. Faves were "Dogs', "Shine on You Crazy Diamond", "Every
Stranger's Eyes". Roger, come back again. You rule.

Hey there, I saw Roger Waters at the Providence Civic Center on July 16th,
and it was absolutely mind-blowing. It was his last stop on his In The Flesh
Tour, and he put
on the best show. When they played Shine On You Crazy Diamond with Sid Barrett's
face on the screen I got chills all over my body. A totally memorable experience,
one that I
will no doubt ever forget. I just hope he releases a live album of his 1999-2000
tour, because I would be the first in line for it.

Travelled from England to see July 13th MSG and July 16th Providence shows.
They were awesome! Greatest nights of my life.
A few observations / comparisons
1. Rogers vocals have never sounded so good. Strong, mean, full of emotion.
2. Snowy whites playing is tighter and cleaner than in the past. He now does a good job on the slow technical stuff eg the intro to shine on and the end of its a miracle
3. The sound system is incredible. The sound at msg was particularly clean and the mix was perfection.
4. The quad effect from where I was seated at providence was incredible. layers of sound moving around from all angles.
5. Snowy had the edge at msg but doyle had the edge at providence. Doyle did a lot of work and great improvisation at the last gig.
6. The whole band sounds great.
7. This show blows out of the water any other show I have ever seen. Makes the last floyd shows sound flat and Tame.
I hope Roger tours again including Europe because everyone needs to see and hear the greatest show on earth.
